While casinos are being blown up, Spirit is bolstering service. Spirit Airlines is fast becoming the least-depressing thing about Atlantic City (with apologies to any readers who call Atlantic City home). With Wi-Fi available, leisure travel booming, and the ultra-low-coast business model finally more clearly disclosed, Spirit Airlines is poised to do well in markets that have struggled to traditionally support commercial air service.

Do remember to bring a back-up charger, though, as Spirit Airlines will not offer power ports. This service is already available on select aircraft and is expected to be available systemwide by early 2022. Spirit Airlines is in the midst of installing Wi-Fi throughout its fleet and it will be fast enough to stream from services like Netflix or Hulu. The new Cancun route makes the first international service from ACY.
